The Insight That Drives the Work
"Leaders rarely fail because they lack ambition or information. They fail because pressure compresses their judgment — and they act before they've answered the right questions."
Over twenty years, I have worked as an educator, executive coach, and strategic advisor across industries where reputation is the product and trust is the foundation.
That experience produced one observation that has remained constant across every engagement: the pattern above. Leaders with sound values and sharp instincts, moving faster than their authority could absorb — not because they were careless, but because the pressure arrived before the structure did.
AI has made that pattern faster and higher stakes. That is why this work exists now.
In 2026, I published The AI Hype Trap — a governance framework for business leaders who refuse to trade judgment for speed. The book introduces the Protypa Council™, a structured decision system built around the insight that deliberate choice, including the choice to refuse, is the highest form of leadership.
I am not an AI consultant, a tech strategist, or an acceleration advisor. I do not help companies adopt AI faster. I help them govern it — or decide not to, which is equally valid.
What I am
An AI governance advisor who helps business leaders make deliberate, defensible AI decisions without losing the authority, trust, and identity they spent years building.
Who I work with
Leaders of high-trust, service-based businesses — typically €5M and above in revenue — operating in legal, financial advisory, healthcare, and professional services, across the Netherlands and English-speaking international markets.
What makes this distinct
Refusal is not resistance. It is governance. That distinction — and the willingness to name it — is the competitive edge this work holds in a market that pushes uniformly toward adoption.

"Speed does not automatically create progress. Sometimes it erodes authority."
The businesses I work with are not afraid of AI. They are afraid of what a rushed AI decision will quietly erode — the trust their clients place in them, the discretion that defines their work, the human presence that cannot be automated away.
My role is to be the person in the room who asks the question no one else is asking: not whether you can use AI here, but whether you should — and who is responsible if you do.

A governance conversation is thirty minutes, built around your specific situation. There is no obligation beyond the conversation itself.
